If your looking for something a little less full on and along the lines of nostalgia or military history, try an aerobatic or bombing run flight in the Nanchang CJ-6A or a Yak. 52. Our senior pilot is Jim Whalley, an ex-Air Force fighter pilot and test pilot with thousands of hours flying experience. All of our pilots with the exception of one, are current or past serving military personnel. All of our pilots are very safety conscious.

L39 Jet Ride - This is the closest you will ever get to being Top Gun!
Flight Time: 20 Minutes. (Allow an hour and half for the whole experience)

Beach and City Bombing Run - Nanchang
Flight Time: 20 minutes (allow an hour for the whole experience)
Feel what it was like to fly a strafing run as you scream over the beach at low level. The actual path taken will depend on Air Traffic Control, but a typical flight will take you over North Haven, down the beach past Glenelg to Brighton Jetty and possibly back over the CBD on return to Parafield.

The Thrill Seeker - Basic Aerobatics Flight - Nanchang
Flight Time: 20 Minutes. (Allow an hour for the whole experience).
You will take off from Parafield, departing North up the coast. The aircraft will climb to gain sufficient height for aerobatics and the fun will get under way. Your pilot will take you through a Wing Over, Loop, Barrel Roll and Stall Turn; explaining each manoeuvre and allowing a pause between each one if necessary. (The aim is not to make you sick). You will pull up to 4G in these manoeuvres.
You will then experience all these manoeuvres in succession, followed by a low level run back down the coast and return to Parafield.

Adrenaline Junky - Advanced Aerobatics Flight - Nanchang
Flight Time: 30 Minutes (Allow an hour and a half for the whole experience).
As per Flight 2, you will then advance some more complicated and exciting manoeuvres such as Spins, Immelmans, Cubans, Split S. If you want some appreciation of what it is like to manoeuvre an aircraft in a combat situation, this is it.

FORMATION Flights - Nanchang
There is nothing quote like seeing another aircraft right on your wingtip! If you want to go up with a friend, we can put you each in your own warbird and you can do the flight together (Aerobatics flights only).
You will save 10% on the price of two flights, but both must be used together (in formation).
Combo Adventure Flight - For those who want it all! - Nanchang
Flight Time: 40 - 45 Minutes. (Allow an hour and half for the whole experience)This is a combination of Flights 1 and 2. Enjoy a sightseeing joy flight over the city of Adelaide and over the beach at low level, as per Flight 1. You will then depart North up the coast where you will climb to sufficient altitude to carry out aerobatics.
