Spectacular Coastlines, Wildlife and Beaches!

You will be transferred to Adelaide airport for a flight with Regional Express Airlines to Port Lincoln. On arrival, your 4WD guide will meet you for a day of spectacular exploration.

Port Lincoln is the home to the great tuna fishing industry. The rich seas surrounding Port Lincoln produce some of the best oysters, abalone and deep-sea fishing.

As you drive along the coastline of the Eyre Peninsula to Baird Bay you will pass through vineyards, farmland, rugged wilderness and sand dunes

Day 2

Today is spent at Baird Bay, home to an Australian Sea Lion colony and Bottlenose Dolphins. This is a magical spot. You will join a small charter boat and travel out to the inlet of the Bay (own cost approx $120 paid direct to local operator). 

Now it’s your turn to enter the aquatic world of Sea Lions and Dolphins and swim with them. Being allowed by these inquisitive creatures to share their environment is one of the truly awesome natural wonders of the World. 

After lunch, there will be time to take in the sights of Streaky Bay before returning to Port Lincoln for your flight to Adelaide with REX Airlines.  On arrival, you will be transferred to your accommodation.

Tour departs daily 07:00 at the Adelaide airport and returns 19:10 on the second day.

• Light aircraft operators are very stringent about weight Limits.
• Luggage is restricted to 15kg per person. This is a safety issue.
• This tour can operate in reverse, subject to flight availability.
• At Baird Bay, all interactions with the Dolphins and Sea Lions are entirely natural and on their terms only.
• There is therefore no guarantee as to what sort of interaction will occur, as each day is very different.
• Dolphin swims are weather dependent Due to the slight possibility of foul weather in the bay, “swim with the Sea Lions tour” is to be paid direct with local operator at the time.
• Alternative activities will be provided in the event of bad weather.
