Kangaroo Island and Victor Harbor 4WD
Coastal Nature at its Best
City pick-up 06:45Day 1
The day starts bright and early, when your 4WD guide picks you up in Adelaide and heads south to the spectacular coastline of the Fleurieu Peninsula.
Highlights of today include the old port town of Goolwa, Urimbirra Wildlife Park where you can get close up and personal with koalas and kangaroos, the old whaling town of Victor Harbor and, of course, the beach. This seemingly endless stretch of sand goes all the way down to the Murray River Mouth – if the tide is right, you’ll drive along the beach here.
Experience the remarkable wilderness and the abundant natural wildlife habitat of Deep Creek Conservation Park.

Day 2
You’re headed for Kangaroo Island today, crossing the narrow strait on the fast and luxurious Sealink Ferry. Kangaroo Island is one of the World’s last unspoilt wilderness areas, with 450 kilometers of spectacular coastline. The national and Conservation Parks, which make up one third of the island, are teeming with wildlife and surrounded by pristine beaches.
KI, as the locals know it, is famous for its seal, sea lion and penguin colonies. If you’ve ever wanted to get close to nature, this is the place to do it. Upon arrival, you will be met by your 4WD driver/guide for a day of spectacular exploration.
You’ll see landscapes and seascapes, ranging from thick bush and dramatic cliffs, to sand dunes and sheltered beaches. Along the way you’ll learn about the history of the island and the famous explorers who had a hand in naming it’s natural features. You’ll be treated to a delicious lunch served with renowned South Australian wines. From the beautifully eerie scenery of Remarkable Rocks to the special experiences of the Platypus Walk and Hanson Bay Koala Sanctuary, it is a day of discovery – you’ll understand why Kangaroo Island has become an international ‘must see’ destination.
At the end of the day enjoy the wonderful evening panoramic colours as you leave Kangaroo Island aboard your flight back to the city lights of Adelaide.
